Who can register for the Short Course? All current Key Music Australia band students (who are in their first year of band) can register.

My child is not currently participating in Online Music Lessons. Can they still register for the short course? Yes! Any Key Music Australia band students can register for the short course whilst face-to-face music lessons and band rehearsals are not able to take place.

My child is currently participating in Online Music Lessons. Can they also register for the short course in addition to continuing with Online Music Lessons? Yes! Any Key Music Australia band students can register for the short course whilst face-to-face music lessons and band rehearsals are not able to take place.

Does my child need their instrument for the Short Course? No. You do not require your musical instrument for the short course.

What will my child learn on the Short Course? The short course is designed to teach and explain core musical concepts to students that would normally be taught in band rehearsals in their first year of band.

Are any materials provided? Students will be provided with digital copies of handouts with summaries of the lessons and further activities that they can complete to supplement their learning.

Can my child attend for only 1 week? Unfortunately No. The course is designed as a 4-week short course and payment will be required for the full amount.

How do I pay for the Short Course? An invoice will be sent out via email from the Key Music Australia Accounts Department.

How does my child access the ZOOM call for the Short Course? The ZOOM Code for the Short Course will be sent to registered families before the course starts.
