There will be 2 bands at Asquith PS in 2025.
Band Rehearsals take place after school each week during term time only (not on public holidays or pupil free days).
Students need to bring their instrument and music to each band rehearsal.
All percussion/drums and keyboard equipment is provided at the rehearsal. Percussion students need to bring drum sticks.
2025 Band Rehearsal Times:
All current band students who were in the Band Program at the end of 2024 DO NOT need to re-enrol as your enrolment is ongoing into 2025.
Students in Training Band in 2024 will automatically progress to the Performance Band in 2025.
Students in Performance Band in 2024 will remain in the Performance Band in 2025.
All New Beginner Band Enrolments will start in the Training Band in 2025.
Music Lessons Restart from: Week 3 (from Monday 10th Feb).
Training Band Rehearsals: Thursday’s 3pm to 4pm in the Spare demountable/RFF room (Students walk straight to the Spare demountable/RFF room at the end of the day school bell). Rehearsals commence from Week 6, Thursday 6th March.
Performance Band Rehearsals: Thursday’s 3:00pm – 4:00pm in the Hall (Students walk straight to the Hall at the end of the day school bell). **NOTE NEW DAY FOR 2025** Rehearsals commence from Week 3, Thursday 13th February.
